  • 93% increase in time spent on the Clarity website by new candidates
  • 67% increase in overall number of candidates applying to jobs
  • 172% increase in candidates applying to jobs on their mobile devices
About Clarity Recruitment

Clarity Recruitment is a recruitment firm that specializes in recruiting accounting and finance professionals in the Greater Toronto area. The organization uses behavioural research and technology to place the right people in the right jobs.

How We Addressed the Challenge

We redesigned the candidate experience on desktop & mobile, with the following principles, to showcase expertise & credibility:

  • Minimalist Design: Job sites are typically text heavy and overwhelm the user with information. By creating a minimalistic and aesthetic product design, we established immediate credibility in the mind of the user.
  • Emphasis on Specialization: Jobs were categorized based on function such as Financial Planning and Analysis rather than displayed as an itemized list. This helped the user easily find jobs that they would be a good fit for based on specialization.
  • Systemized job descriptions: Through systemized job descriptions that provide transparency on company culture, skills requirements, and the challenges that the candidate would face in the role, the website showcases the high quality of Clarity’s screening process.
